Hey EBMM friends,

I have a question to this Backplate of a BFR Petrucci.

Never saw a plate with a BFR Logo like this!? Also no 12th fret inlay!?

Any ideas?

Thanks for helping out...

Regards Björn

They stopped doing the 12th fet inlay and put the BFR logo on the backplate instead.

Simple really. :)

They really did. (2012? Anyone remember when?)

Nah, wasn't it more like 2013 or even 2014. It's not THAT long ago, even if it feels like it I think :)

My JPXI and JP12 were made in late 2013, and they have the BFR backplate instead of the inlay.

I quite like the regular inlays; the BFR at the twelfth fret always looked out-of-place to me.
