I've love something made of pink ivory or purplewood... I love both of those colours - have got myself some nice hair bits in those woods and they are stunning - both would look absolutely beautiful on a guitar - either as part of the body, or neck or something.

Probably would be the closest I'd get to having a pink bass ;)

I'd like a Bongo with a flamed/quilted maple top....that might shut the Sad freaks up.

I don't know if that would actually be possible, because the Bongo shape is so heavily contoured. There's no real single line that separates the front from the back.

So any exotic Bongo would have to be the same wood throughout. Like the LaRue Mahongo or the Open House Bongo.
