BFR Rosewood Neck option!

Not a concern as much as a query..

Maple is obviously a very strong neck wood..
Mahogany also..
But i did believe it to be softer? (seen a great many broken gib**n headstocks)

So, where does rosewood fit in these scheme of things strengthwise?
&
How are we expecting it to sound tonally?

Man these rosewood necks are sure nice. I do like the cabernet pearl or a white body ideas. But how about a rosewood neck on an egyptian smoke body with a black or black pearl guard.

I thought I posted a reply last night but I was so shocked I probably forgot to hit the submit button. This news has thrown me off. I have been waiting for our teasers about the 25th so I can see if I am drawn to it and then talk to the wife about making an order near the end of it's order window to get it by the end of next year then this anouncement comes out! OMG there is only 1 month to make a choice and still no 25th info. EB I love you and yet I am mad at you! I am going to have to see a gastrointestinal special to help with all this GAS! I can not stop thinking about a Luke or SS with the Rosewood neck. Since I already have my Rosewood ASS I kind of know I am getting into and I like it!
