Hooray!! Poppa's back!!! I'm so glad you're feeling better - back to our regularly scheduled program YAY!!

Ya I planned on getting up early this morning and deleting my quote I'm really sorry about that. I slept in because its my day off and I finally got caught up last night after getting home from the biz trip. Too bad Kevin called me at like 8:15 and woke me up, hahahaha

I've been restraining this in the event it may seem insensitive, 'cuz naturally I wish BP well and always hope for the best.

But as far as the whole Peg-Leg thing goes.

Just wanted to say, I'm available for a consult, if there's imaging involved......

Big Poppa, hope you indeed conquer this problem with your ankle, and it's good to see you say your feeling better today. I can understand how things like this feel as I'm an old fart.

Beth I did wake up obsessed over that post. So I got up early and deleted it. Sorry for any trouble even though some of us found it funny. I was something out of an old Mel Brooks movie:eek:

I thought it was funny too, but then we do need to keep things appropriate around here. We're good, no worries.

On a serious side note BP, if it's a joint/inflammation problem, ask your doc about a drug called Torodol, it's an anti-inflammant that's been amazing for me with my back and (recently an injury to my) neck.

It's non-narcotic and fairly easy on the system. But man, it was a miracle drug!
Toradol is a great anti-inflammatory. Does wonders for post-op pain in the right setting. Only problem is that some surgeons are afraid that it's going to increase the risk of post-op bleeding. Oops. :( Some do not believe those effects are clinically significant, though. Not a good drug for everyone, though, either.

Glad you're feeling better, BP.

Yeah, it's essentially a massive dose of Advil. I had eye surgery a couple of years ago, and that was all they could give me for pain. A bullet to the head would have helped more.

Get well soon BP.

BP, I hope you feel better soon. Try some of that "super blue stuff" at Health food and Herb shops. Its a good temporary fix for the pain.

I had read that as well.

You can't take it for prolonged periods of time either. Fortunately, I've never had to take it for more than a few days. :)
