What don't you like about painted necks?

Meh, it's alright for a bass

Just kidding that is beautiful, if I wasn't a guitar player...wait a minute :o

Well, personally, and I do bleeb I have expressed this many times before, I think they are tools and if you want to install tachometers and fuzzy dice and perhaps a nekkid lady on the back, then you go.

So I can honestly say that if I saw that bass on eBay, not knowing the history or any of that, I would kill you all then go make the owner sell it to me, just me, not you, only me and if you somehow found a way to buy it then I'd kill you too.

Just joshing about all the killing, of course. I gave that up years ago.

But seriously. What's cooler than flames? I'll tell you - NOTHING.

You know it's true but I thought I should type it right out like I had good sense.

I tell you this, if I knew anyone at all in this town who could do decent flames, you'd sure as hell see a Bongo in black sapphire with bright red flames.

Or maybe a nekkid lady, I still haven't decided about that.

PS, hey uwordsmakemeallbrokenupliketheroadsinlousisian, the Bongo painted necks have a clearcoat over them, just like a poly or nitro neck finish, so you can't feel the paint. Crazy, ain't it?
