hey kids you cant imagine the look on my face when we are bringing 15 new guitars and basses and some of you are dissapointed that there are no new colors......I am thinkng of givin up and clipping coupons you cant win just read the stingray posts.
pleeeeeeease noooooooo!
in all seriousness Sterling I understand your frustration and the fact that joking aside, you're doing here what no other company does, hell, when i was talking to a friend of mine today who is a D'Addario rep about some of the stuff that goes on in the Forum here and the amount of traffic and that you post here, he ws blown away! couldn't believe it, access to the top!

BTW, an aside, if you check out Jon Patitucci's interview at the D'Addario site, it's kinda interesting to see the bass that he's playing.....

back to topic at hand, the new basses are wild, amazing, revolutionary, but I will speak for some others I think when i say we get a little spoiled here with all that you guys do and yes, end up either posting like spoiled brats or clogging up your PM box :o so as to not brown my nose any further thanks for posting the pics and now get some damn rest before the NAMM show!!!!! you nuts deserve it! :D

psyc...Listen this is real...it is my passion and a passion shared by most all at music man. If you guys think that Im thin skinned that is not the case. I have a fair amount of experience and know that in the end we will make quite a few bassist happy in our quest for advancement. If I or the other partners at eb that post here were corporate we would brown nose you guys even when some of the RARE things are sometimes posted are questionable to say the least. Its real simple....we have our vision for design, quality and cusotmer service and most of you are here because our ideas and goals aren't far apart.

just dont take it personally if i answer openly and honestly, just as I won't regarding your perspecitve.

In a world full of fakes and yes men ( especially in the music industry) it is refreshing to get an honest answer and No BS from all EB workers even the Big Cheese so keep on keeping on BP

Also pass the little sandwiches please :D

Oh ok then - thought I was going to be barred for a moment then and have to hand back my SRs in penance.....

By the way - very sweet looking basses - cannot wait for them to come across the pond..... :)

What you have done BP is make it very hard to decide between a Bongo 5 and an SR 5. Good job!

No kiddin, I'm right there with you! I picked up my HH Bongo 4 last night to see how much I still liked it and spent a bunch of time tweaking the EQ and pickup blend. I realized again just how many wonderful sounds come out of this bass! I love the split mids in the 4 band EQ.

Still, my heart leaps out of my chest every time I see a natural/maple Stingray so I've put everything I can up for sale to come up with the scratch for a new Music Man. :)

I have a Bongo so I'm thinking I'll just have to go with a SR 5. Life can be so hard sometimes.

The 5 string HH looks amazing. This might affect my plans for a single H Bongo...

I notice that the pickups have a casing similar to the Bongo pickups.

Will white pickguarded instruments ship with white pickup covers, or will they all be standardized to black now?

Damn it--I was all set to order an H Bongo, but now you've gone and screwed me up.

Don't let the bastards get you down, BP.
