Looks very cool. Can't wait to hear one .... or play one! Wish I was coming to the open house .

Is there a prototype of the H-SC SR5? Will Piezos be an option?

Scott mentioned in the other drool thread that neither piezos nor 2 band EQs will be an option on the dual pickup SRs, and Sterlings.

I was reading a thread about these basses over at TB and I'm amazed how people can be so negative about something so cool and exciting as these new basses. I know that "The Dude" hates the looks of the bongo(Hasn't stopped anyone with half an open mind or ears) but did he really have to start up with that negative crap like it's his personal crusade to diss the Bongo? I like TDP and for the most part The Dude but those posts were immature and not needed. I won't even mention the pointless comments he made about BP.

 :( :(

It may be called something else. I'm referring to the selector switch that changes the pups from parallel, to series, to both.

i.e. The Sterling and the SR5 switch.

Don't worry about the nonsensical ramblings of someone who was probably half tanked while he was typing.

He lost my business a long time ago...

TK, you think YOUR confused about what to get!!! Think about how us dealers wrestle with that issue. What colors will sell, what combinations, etc. It never fails.. you never pick what people want. And now they've just made it 13 times more difficult with the new p/u options. UGHHHHHHH!!!

How is it 13 times more difficult? I must be missing something. I mean, they've added HH, or H/SC to SR4, SR5 & Sterling models which adds up to 6 new models. What 7 models am I missing here?

I'm just quoting what Dargin said about 13 new models. I'll find out soon enough this weekend.
