Hang on - thinking about media law - somethign I deal with ever day - BP you might just have a case for libel, certainly in the UK.

Pretty certain that legal action would fall under the "Lets not waste time and effort" aspect of BP's remarks a couple of posts back.

The best remedy is to let his posts stand out there in the ether.. anyone who encounters them will arrive at the same conclusion about their originator.
