that fretless is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yipes! It is, indeed.

It looks like it's made of beer flavored ice cream, and I want to eat it. :D

The red one looks extremely nice, too. I was actually thinking of that color combo....

I could seriously see me getting one of these basses. I love the SC/H Bongos and I love Lakland 55-94/55-02s, heck I love the Peavey USA Millenniums which have the same configuration! If the humbucker retains the classic Stingray sound, then this bass will the best SC/H bass of them all. Big Poppa, please get some list prices out for us as soon as you can!

Is that base price for the one pup or two pup model or is does the base cover all pickup configurations not counting the piezos?

I must say, I have been a lurker around this forum since day one, and a guitarist from day two (no proof, though). But all joking aside, these baby's make me want to jump off the deep end!!! All of these 2PU basses have blown me away (and of course, that includes the Bongo too)! With all of the smiles around here, it really shows that we are onto something cool.

Now if I could only get to post #2....:D

hey Drew! welcome it is about time someone from engineering faced the forum....maybe Dudley or John will follow.

drew Montell is the "rookie" guitar designer ,formally trained cal Poly engineering degree guy that plays great guitar. Drews latest projects was the now terminated Al Lee neckthrough and the soon to be gracing the shelfs JP neckthrough.

I met Drew when he was a freshman at our SLO house the FUn Ranch where I cooked for 25-30 people everymonday night during the football season. He started as an intern and is a very valuable guy with a great future.

Everybody say HEY DREW!

Drew any stories on the new basses?
