Is there any way we can just be happy with the fact BP and Scott shared these wonderful pics with us already? I can now see why most companies keep their top secret new stuff under wraps until NAMM.

forum newb: "Uhhhh gee that sure is a swell DUAL H STERLING but is there anyway you can dip that in nacho cheese, cover it in bean dip, slather it with sour cream and guacamole and make the neck out of taco shells? I got it! The Taco Sterling!"

How can any of us complain when we are on the verge of some of the most badass basses ever. The pickup switching options alone is worth getting freak'n excited over.

I hope Mingus' comments weren't directed at me!?! I only stated I'd like a STEALTH version because to me it would be the ultimate looking bass (in my opinion). I certainly wasn't "complaining" that it wasn't available in other colours, I'm totally blown away by the new models for what they are.

The Bongos were recently released in Buttercream and Stealth colours, so I figured that perhaps one day, these new models might also be available in said colours, and that would be cool (and I'd definitely want one).

And what's with the dig at being a 'newb'? Perhaps the response wasn't directed at me, though it did follow directly after my post. I thought as a forum member I was allowed an opinion/say? I'll be more careful about my posts next time for fear of annoying any SENIOR members! I've noticed it's getting a bit touchy around here. Pehaps it's best I stay lurking instead?

I haven't read all the comments here on this yet but I think the SR5 "looks" great with the second pup and the combination of the two different pups is very appealing to me. When I get to the point again where I have some "mad" money again I'd love to check the new SR5 out.

I'm about as senior as it gets and you don't have to worry about me being touchy.

Post away. We need all the opinions we can get!

(and lurking is for girls)

LowDown - hang in there... I'm sure you'll find it's not too "touchy" here after all.

Now, "feely" - that's a whole other story! :p

Mmmmm... touchy AND feely. I like it! So can I have one of those Stealth Taco HHH Bongos or what? Whaaah! Whaaaah! Want it NOW! (keep looking but can't find sarcasm shift key on keyboard so people will know I'm not serious) :D

Low Down, I'm with you on the stealth model. I alternate between teal and black for my basses, and though I don't have stealth Bongo (mine's black), a HH stealth Sterling would certainly be sweet.

im pretty sure that you can order anything in BC untill the end of the year (i think the end of the year) ... so you should be able to get a BC SR5 HH ...

so far Stealth is a Bongo only thing ... but i think i remember BP hinting that it may be a standard finish some day.

and dont worry about stuff ... say what you want as long as its not explicately thrown out there to piss someone off.
