SR4 base retail will be $1765, Sterling will be $1825, and Stingray 5 will be $1985.

I just checked Musicians Friend, and that means the retail of the StingRay and Sterling 2 p/u models are only $100 more expensive than the single p/u models(retail). However the retail for a StingRay 5 single H was cheaper than the 2 p/u. Is that right?

Thats very impressive. I figured they a bit more expensive than that. Rock on.

Thanks for the kudos, BP. And hello to everyone at the forum.

To be honest, I am more excited to hear all of your stories once you get your hands on these basses! Gigs will be sold out, chicks will be flocking,....what more can you ask for!!!

These basses honestly have all of the thunder of the originals with even more options.

Maybe I should start taking some Bass lessons?!?!

One question. Do these SR5's have the three way wiring switch along with the pickup selector?

Does that mean the pups are in 'StingRay' mode? What is it? Parallel?

Just trying to figure all of this out...;)

As soon as Dudley approves the control funcion diagrams I will scan and post it here. Please be patient, we are scrambling trying to squirt out the last few pieces.

Very nice! This is the one I want. or both of them. And the red/white is classic.

H / SC SR5 just looks way too cool. And that SC neck pickup has got to sound good. I have faith.

Argh. I WILL REMEMBER TO APPRECIATE MY GORGEOUS TRANS-GOLD SR5 AND NOT TORTURE MYSELF.

Good job BP and everybody involved

The Lakland boys are going to lose some business to you!

Q: How soon will we see them in stores?

Sorry for the question, Dargin, it's just that I don't know how this "base retail price" works. Is that price because EBMM decided to apply an increase? I'm asking because my 5-string Bongo with two humbuckers and piezo bridge + case costed (well, much less). Shipping not included (it arrived on May 28 / 05). I'm very interested on this because I want a fretless Bongo with the same specs for 2006. Thank you!

I'm pretty sure you shouldn't be posting the price as it is against forum rules. The listed prices are not the price you WILL pay(i.e. street) but the retail price which is usually quite a bit higher.
