I am now going to let you guys know the funniest PM I get durng the week. I know that NorM suggests that I turn them off,but I actually need to use them from time to time. If you dont want your pm made public, simple DONT PM POPPA!

A nice fellow from the UK PMMED me asking if I had a cream volume knob for an Axis. He said that he figured it would be easier to order it directly from me rather than go through the song and dance of his dealer, Strings & Things, to EB customer service.

Last week a fellow from Israel wanted financial compensation for his JP that was a month late. I declined.

I really don't see what the problem is.

You just run a little guitar building company and a little string company. You should have plenty of time to answer those questions and handle those problems.

While you're at it, BP, I need some more of those Ernie Ball polishing cloth thingies.

I sense a new business venture. We could set up a little side shop for spare parts that come with a letter of certificate stating the customer has been serviced by Sterling Ball himself. We could make billions. Sterling Service, I like that.

Hey Sterling, feel free to forward those to me. I just sit here in the office, idly by, twiddling my thumbs, waiting for people to ask me for a knob. ;)

No really, if you're not in the US and you have a customer service issue, see me or Kevin in customer service [email protected], [email protected].

Thanks everyone!

Hey Biff, while you're rummaging around the house looking for that knob, would you see if you have one of those little bags of dessicant? And a G string, I have one that's gone kind of funky on me.

Thanks, man.

I'll PM you about the back rub.

Hm, well, in that case, I'll take five tuning pegs, ten string saddles, uh... another pickup, seven knobs for a Stingray, five nuts, and a Bongo neck.

Oh, and mister Ball, sir, could I also get two of those certificates? I think if you signed them I might be able to make a bit of money selling one on eBay. Oh yeah, and can you reimburse me if it all gets here in more than two days? Since I'm ordering from you, it should be faster, right? Thanks.

As long as they make your life easier and they bring you joy. I can only hope that some day my PM will make the funniest of the week.

Thank You for sharing.

If anything, I think that this would intimidate pmers, BP. I wouldn't expect anyone to pm after this, at least until it drops off of the first forum page. After that, it'll probably go back to normal. I guess it's just something about humans that makes us think that a pm to the busy CEO of a company would be a good idea. (By the way, I was serious about that. I'm done with the jokes for today.)
