How about 3-way - say neck/neck & bridge/bridge. Keep it simple, keep it sweet. I'd like to see a mini toggle switch on the plate to do the switching job

If I'm reading it correctly, and it's early yet so I might be, he's saying a 3-way mini-toggle in place of the five way switch.

It's all water under the horse that's already closed the barn door on fire now anyway - them basses is a'comin'.

Plus I didn't understand the phrase "bass player logic".

Sorry to confuse - I meant one mini toggle only - not three as per the Sabre. Either way, it's all about what we each consider our ideal bass should be. My ideal bass has got MusicMan on the headstock. Nuff said....
