This one must go back I'm afraid. In addition to the neck trouble, the bridge coil is open, so no humbucking goodness...
Good luck if you decide to take that route. If I could get it for 200-400, we wouldn't be having any back and forth on this one.you said its been returned to chicago eh? i should try talking those guys at that GC down to 200-400. its got about a little less than a grand in repairs in it, not to mention the ammount of time.
Oh, and one more thing. In over 30 years of playing and collecting, this bass and HSC have the most toxic case of mold & mildew disease I've ever been near. I have a mild mold allergy and I had to drive this bass to the GC with ALL of my windows down in 20 degree temperatures....
Good luck if you decide to take that route. If I could get it for 200-400, we wouldn't be having any back and forth on this one.If you can get a replacement neck, and have the pickup repaired or rewound for a little less than a grand, then please do me the favor of introducing me to your repairman....
Looks like the Totowa GC didn't want it back either. It's now at the Villa Park, Ill GC. Still the same price. I wonder how they would describe it.
Best idea is to just order a new Custom Classic!![]()
