Hey NorM,
It's very simple, just see if you can follow along... (Alright so my wife wasn't able to keep up either, she just thinks I'm a fruit-loop)

1. Fred buys "rare sparkly" Burnt Apple Silhouette Special from beej. 3 weeks later...
2. beej snags a "rare sparkly" Blue Dawn Silhouette from EBay.
3. Fred sees this guitar and flips out over the rosewood fretboard.
4. Fred posts half in jest asking if beej wants his Burnt Apple Silo back in trade for the Blue Dawn Silo.
5. Fred notices that the seller lives about 40 minutes away. Hmmmm. No shipment necessary.
6. beej says sure, he'd take the Burnt Apple for the Blue Dawn.
7. beej talks to seller and says that he has someone local who will "pick up" the guitar. Seller says that's cool...
8. Fred goes to the bank and gets cash to take to seller.
9. Fred sends Burnt Apple back to Ernie Ball for a setup and will have it delivered to friend of beej.
10. beej sends Fred a check.
11. Fred gets new "rare sparkly" Blue Dawn Silo, beej gets his Burnt Apple Silo back for his friend and everyone's happy. Pictures to follow...

Now what's so tough to follow other than it all happens in about a 12 hour timeframe? :D
:)

I'm gonna toot my own horn and proclaim myself the Sparkle King.

I have 9 Pet's in sparkle colors, but I don't have that rare sparkly Burnt Apple

I'll never give up on my quest for all the sparkles, NEVER!

Norm, I'll say thank you for the plug :D. Ernie you the man as far as sparkles go, and your name came to mind when read Norms post!!!! :)

I think I'm keeping the BD Axis Sport and giving to my wife, that way I can play it whenever I want to. She mentioned picking up the electric guitar. I see my chance here.

Your BD ASS is still being looked after not a ding whatsoever but could do with a rewax/oil.

Lew,
I hadn't seen you around much and started to wonder if all was well. I'm glad to hear that everything's alright.

It's funny, I'll go home sometimes and tell my wife about things different forum members have said as if she should know what I'm talking about, and I've only ever met one in person. I've talked to Keith a few times on the phone, but she definitely wonders about this NorM guy I've talked about from time to time. :D

Tommy called me out of the blue the other night to tell me that he's going to be playing in town tonight. I'm bummed that we can't get out to see him, but hopefully he'll be back this way again sometime soon.

Anyhow I guess the point is some people are missed when they aren't around every now and then.

Good to hear the Axis is still working out for you.

Including a very memorable one between Fred seeing a Morse clinic and on his way to the show that night.

(btw--loving the cd's fred. Many many thanks.)
