Hey guys,

Just sold some gear and freed up the budget to get another EBMM (Yes!). I discovered a dealer not to far away that has a very decent EBMM selection, so I'm going to pay them a visit tomorrow. Being that all my current guitars are hardtails, which has become my preference, I still want a trem equipped guitar to complement them. Also I'm a BIG fan of the roasted necks. So a LIII is the first thing I'll testdrive tomorrow. Luckily they have one in Bodhi Blue and one in Emerald Green Sparkle! I think I already know which color I prefer, but I'll have to see them in person.

So what choice would you make: Bodhi Blue or Emerald Green Sparkle?

Not that I will be influenced by it, but hey, all in good fun! :)

I think both are awesome colours. I probably pick the one with the best playability and most figured neck lol :D

Wow, good luck with the visit. I'd personally say "Emerald Green", only because it's a limited run and Bohdi Blue is a standard offering. Not everyone is into the Sparkle finishes, can't understand why, Hahahahaha, kidding. :D

But you might get to the store and not like the Emerald Green, only time will tell.

Good luck, Glenn |B)

That's definitely something to take into consideration, I love a nice figured neck. I hope the neck shape will suit me, allthough I can get along with a lot of neck shapes.

Emerald green is by far the best color I have eve seen on a guitar, photos of it don't do it justice. I will post a professional shot of mine soon hopefully u can see the depth in the sparkle and color better. Best

Went to the shop today, clearly a victory for the emerald green. Pictures really don't do the color justice, not for the faint at heart!

To my delight they also had an Armada. Fantastic guitar, vastly different from any other EBMM model I played. But I liked the LIII better... :)

I'd prolly get the green as well - but as an owner of a Bodhi Blue I will say the color doesn't photograph well and looks much better in person and in good lighting - it is a killer color and looks great with the roasted neck and black pups

Looking forward to those pics, as it is a very difficult color to photograph. In person it's so much more alive. Plus a Reflex with roasted neck and ebony board is always awesome! Love ebony..

Bodhi blue with roasted neck is also a great combo. But then a roasted neck looks great on everything and every color imho.
