I asked the seller if this case fit 4 or 5 string Bongos. He said it fits both.
Please share your opinion.
My 5HH came with a case with a fitted interior for it. The outside has "MusicMan" molded into it. I assume since the 5HH came inside it that a 4-string Bongo also fits, not that I've actually tried it on.

I don't think any company is molding names onto otherwise generic cases, plus there's the molded fitted shape inside, *and* the GC guys had to look up it's SKU to find the right box for the MusicMan case, having put my 5HH on clearance advertised "with case". It's dark gray, nicely textured outside, with 4 latches, came with keys.

OTOH, I'd assume that EBMM contracts with some commonly known case company to provide the OEM cases.

Didja start it up and take it for a spin? :D
No but I put an EB "Balls are Best" decal on it, and I've ordered some 17" spinners and a neon kit.

I thought there were only two EBMM bass cases, one for the SR4, SR5 and Bongo and one for the Sterling. My SR5 fits in my SR4 case and mine are the same length. The Sterling case is a little shorter. I don't use any of the cases they came in, I use either gig bags or this case I bought off eBay, sort of a cross between a gig bag and hard shell case, so far I really like it.

I just love those decals!

I wish I had some more of them. I'm out.

BTW - You really should put chrome plated 24s on such a fine case.
For 24s I'd hafta Jack it up :) <--- <------ Pun Alert

Don't know where you got yours, but I found they came inside the latest EBMM catalog. So if you didn't know that, and if you happen on a shop with a stack of EBMM catalogs gathering dust .....

Cool! But I've never seen an EBMM catalog.

The ones I've gotten have either come in the case with a bass or from the open house in SLO.

In the case of the NOS I am picking up there is a 1999 EB catalog.

When I got my Bongo 5 From GC I was told that it was shipped from SLO without a case. I know that some were so that was acceptable. We made, what I consider to be, a fair deal on a StingRay 5 case. The Bass fits really well and I am pleased.

Are there different cases for Bongos Sterlings and StingRays?
