I didn't think I needed a Bongo 6, and then I saw this sign at the Nethercutt collection the other day:

This is a fascinating insight into the design process. Thanks for sharing!

I've never really lasted playing anything other than 4 stringers, but something about this just feels right - the same way the Bongo 4 felt right when I saw the mahogany bodied one from the open house.

At least I've got time to save up money!

Patience, young Jedi. It does not exist yet. It won't be out for (probably) a year at least.

We'll all find out in due course.

I'm asking to find out if they are planning on making it mass produced or a small limited number "we make it if you order it" type of bass.

Well EB always made it when you ordered it. These will be available soon, maybe Summer NAMM '07, maybe not. I won't say any more assumptions and speculations about the Bongo 6 until the EB crew chimes in on the details cuz I've tasted my foot enough. :p

I'm not gonna ask the question, cause I don't want to cause any aggravation to BP, but I really really hope there will be a lefty version of this new masterpeice!
