That's on heck of a car, being your first one
And you don't need a gigantic car like yours to transport your stuff. I can put my EBS 410 in my mother's volvo 460 (EBS 410 is HUGE, for the people who don't know the cab). It doesn't fit the trunk. But you justn eed to stack everything well:)

Anyway, good luck with your car, it looks great

im gonna say congrats dude ... you're off to college and play bass and have a GF ... sounds like youre doing way better than most of the dumbasses out there (im not referring to the fine EB forum folk).

enjoy the car and college and the bass :)

I don't mind the car bashing. I took it for a nice long drive today, actually to play at matinee gig at a church with my jazz buddies for a benefit (see my bass skills help at something meaningful!). I want to say thanks to you all for support/ critisism. I love these forums for a reason, and its the people on them!

I don't think the EB folk are that dumb, but thank you!

PS maybe this thread is my "formal initation" to the EB forums love and harsh remarks :)

Maybe find a girlfriend that will buy you a Bongo… :D

That has to be the most ingenious plan! And then after she buys it just a simple... I'm sorry, it's not you... it's me. Haha definately a plus when/if the woman and I break up. :p

 "Oh Samantha, do you have a couple million to spare to buy me this really nice house, lined with bongos instead of wallpaper?"... I wonder how she would take that. By the way, your house is amazing. All the houses here in NJ are victorian or colonials.

Thanks...the title records tomorrow and we're pretty stoked. Linda has already given me at least preliminary approval to convert the formal living room into my music room...the slatwall is going up on the right wall in this photo where the two flower lithos are currently hanging...she get's the family room to do with as she wishes.

Another month or so this room will be filled with basses!!

Dude back out of the deal now. You can get a mobile home for less and buy more basses.

Yeah, what a silly car to get man. If you're going to be transporting a Bongo, you should've found an old AMC Pacer :) (ducking)

I wonder if Mr. Musicman Nut has a car?
