Brad is a great player!! I want to say that a few years back on Austin City Limits he was playing a gold Silo Special with black pickguard........if my memory is correct.

I own 5 country albums and they are all by Brad Paisley.. even his country album is great.

He uses the same band on his CDs as live. For someone who wants to hear his stuff, get "Who needs pictures" and then "Part 2" ... there is some wicked guitar playing and great humorous lyrics.

my ex was really into country and got us tickets for a brad paisley show. I listen to and play punk, rock and metal. I figured id be bored silly and was gonna "take one for the team" by going to the concert.

but ya - brad blew me away. the guy can really play and his lyrics are pretty funny too. I loved the concert. that dude really throws down

Can anyone recommend me some Brad Paisley stuff? I tried sampling a bit on iTunes last night but there wasn't much in the way of his instrumental ability on the samples.

There is some outstanding guitar work on Mud On The Tires
especially on Spaghetti Western Swing. Little Moments has a great solo in it as well.

I love "I'll take you back", gtreat tune. Mr Policeman is great also.

Just saw Brad playing Mr Policeman the other night on Letterman, man, he is such a great player...and the lyrics on that song are classic.

His band is incrediblely tight, they stop on a dime and the crowd was caught off guard before they starting applauding and cheering. Once again, it seems as if Letterman truly makes an effort to get great musicians on the show, but that should be no surprise, just look line-up in the CBS Orchestra:D

I saw that too....I couldn't tell, but was the guitar player on the left playing a Silo?

I could see the 4+2 headstock and the neck, but that was about it.

And Paul Shaffer was jamming with them too! A great performance. I never miss a Letterman episode!
