Now where did I park my Ferrarabu... :D
me likey, i keepy!! :p

as for the feel, it is one of the best 5 string neck profiles out there hands down AND Mr.LaRue happened to be quick in "liking" of it when he tried it out...and did mention something about his #1 4string and following suit.

...But I bet my Skodaghini is faster than your Ferrarabu! :p

I don't approve of this behavior. ;)

You tellin' me you don't think the back of the Bongo neck would feel as nice as the back of you SR5 neck? You're lying...

I'm not saying everyone should void their warranty, or anything. I mean, I bought my bass in Februay of 2004, so it's already out of warranty. And, I had someone worn through the clear coat in two big chunks on the back of the neck that could feel when my thumb ran over it. My original intention was to simply buff the two spots smooth with wet 800 grit sandpaper. But, when I wore through to wood really quickly, I thought I might as well complete the job. :D

Heh. I was going to say something to Pete about his stickers, but then I realized they were Strong Bad and Teen Girl Squad.

I guess you could say we were "Bongo'd!"

Actually, I have mixed feelings about altering a MM bass. On one hand, if you own it, you have the right to change it. On the other hand, if I don't like a bass the way it was designed, I'll switch basses. Figuratively speaking, it's a slap in the face of the designers, IMHO.

In your defense, I feel that the decision for the Bongo to have a painted neck was an aesthetic one.

Hmmm....this seems like a good conversation to have with alcohol involved. :D
