I try to stay out of all this controversy, when this kind of stuff hits the fan....But I've got to say, Ernie, that has a little harsh. Why didn't you make your feelings known when Brent was still a part of forum. Why wait to find out that he is leaving the forum to start spitting nails. That's the easy way out.

Scott

Scott, it was meant to be harsh. I have no "feelings" in regard to Brent, he seems like nice guy to me. My response was a reaction to a guy, who uses this place to his own benefit, getting all bent outta shape over a joke. Grown men with thin skins seem to be in large supplies these days.

Hey Three Minutes if you are referring to Tristan..this is a very different scenario. Tristan left over a financial disagreement with our French Distributor. I was unwilling to get between them and quite frankly Tristan quit and I didnt feel that in the long term that we could make them happy.

Here is the line that got Brents pantys twisted....

"

I think that might be a tight-fisted scotsman joke poppa, do you know we invented copper wire.....we were fighting over a penny!!! <<Pause for laughter>>

I thought I was the only one that took offense at the flipping for profit on the forum. I have mentioned this both publicly and privately in the past, so it's not a matter of jumping in after the fact. See the "show us your guitars" post on the blue EVH I bought off ebay last month for example. I told Brent then that I decided to throw in a ridiculous bid to win because if he won, I'd have to pay that price or more later when he flipped it...so I just eliminated the waiting.

I never took offense to his flipping, I was just pointing out the fact that he used this place for his own benefit and when he got a little jab about it from the owner of this forum, he went all hissy.

What I do take offense to isyour EVH collection being bigger than my Pet collection.;)

There are quite a few (well, at least 2) really good Scottish Chefs.

As far as Scottish delicacies, errmmm....

err..

oh, there's Haggis. Free range is better than the farmed ones. All that running about makes them leaner.
