Now THAT, my friends, is one cool shirt.

Did BP ever get his EBMM Custom Shop shirt? (If you know.)

Yeah...He got it, and mentioned it here. Said he was going to take a pic when he thought of a funny way of doing it.

Sorry, that's all the German I know, and it's probably not even Hochdeutsch.
That's what happens when you're educated in a beer garden. ;)

Guten Tag Steve!
during my stay in SLO and LA i found out some more german words american people took over:
- Gesundheit
- Hefeweizen (also beer garden vocabulary ;) )
- Streussel
- Kindergarden (slightly modified from "Kindergarten")
- Blitzkrieg

Off competition: Mercedes, Porsche, Volkswagen, BMW :D

shlumpkin,

Yes, we've stolen lots from German and other Germanic languages (the Norse languages). I'm in Pennsylvania, which nearly adopted German as its official language back in colonial times. So, there is lots of German influence here, as well as a similar topography to Germany.

Are you coming back to the US for the Open House? I'd love to drink a toast to the Heimat...

Ooops! I didn't know what that mean

I am very ashamed for taken the nick "shlumpkin" without knowing what that means.
It all started in Hollywood last saturday when we were in a club for dinner and made some word plays about the "Smashing Pumpkins" and the german word "Schlampe" (speak: "shlumpe", means: bitch).
On one point I mixed these words: "Splashing Shlumpkins". There's been a big laughter around and I thought because of the funny sounding of that.
Now I know better:
http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=shlumpkin

(Shame on Scotty A. for not to tell me :) )

I will contact the webmaster for to change the name into "shlumkin" without "p" like Jon wrote it, seems to be a less disgusting thing

Perhaps Frank had more beer than you did?

I don't know, sometimes I imagine I'm at a bar with Jon, too.

A girl's gotta have dreams, right?
