Hello all,

I'm new to the forum. I have a 2006 Music Man JP Signature guitar with a piezo. I love the guitar, unfortunately, it was somehow damaged while I was on deployment in the Marine Corps. The body is completely ruined. However, the neck and hardware are in good shape... I was thinking of either rebuilding it or seeing what the manufacture can do...

Here's my question: Can EB MM do anything as far as replacing the body and resetting up the guitar back to spec? I'm guessing that it may be cheaper than buying a new guitar all together. Like I said, I was extremely bummed when I found the guitar like this. I'm not sure how it happened but a piece of my soul died that day.... I've attached some pics

Any advice or information would be helpful.

Thanks!

Call customer service. They made me a new neck when my Rosewood ASS got borked. It wasn't cheap but it was as good as new.

Believe it or not just about anything can be repaired on a guitar, I know first hand on this. As mentioned, CS is your best call at this point.

Once you determine what kind of money you want to delegate for this job, that will clarify your options; by the way, what part of the country are you located in?

Damn. I had a broken neck on one of my JP's and it was replaced. Hit up CS and see what they say like TNT stated. May be cheaper to get a new one.

Thanks for the replies guys. I'm going to call CS on Monday.

I just got out this past June. I was stationed in Beaufort, SC since 2007 and attached to the USS Enterprise. Thanks for the support and Semper Fi

EB can replace the body and set it up back to spec, provided they keep the original. When you call them, they should be able to give you a price and walk you through it.

Ouch...what a sad way to make an entrance here. Well, welcome to the forum, and good luck getting her back to the way she once was. I can't even imagine the force necessary to do that much damage.
