For many years all the pedals I use in front of the amp have been true bypass. I am considering adding a Boss Equalizer to my chain. Will there be an ill effects doing that along with my Cutlass and Luke 3's that have buffered outputs? TIA

Think about it like this, if you have more than one pedal on at a time, everything after the first one is already getting a buffered signal.

The only exception would be for vintage style fuzzes like a fuzz face. They tend to sound thin and harsh. Then again, Eric Johnson runs a buffered tube screamer in front of his fuzz so what do I know? :)
