Hi, I'm hoping someone here may be able to help or offer some advice. Some years ago I removed the original saddles from my Stingray as the grub screws had completely seized in one of them. I replaced them with some Graphtech ones which never really fitted properly, but then went through a long period where I didn't really play much and it was forgotten. Having gotten back into this lovely bass over the last few years I decided I wanted to return the bass to the original bridge saddles, however I have inevitably lost one of them (the one that was seized). I think it was long since "tidied" away. I contacted the UK distributors for Musicman - Strings and Things - with the age of the bass and they were extremely helpful. They sent me some saddles which initially seemed okay but upon fitting them they are not the same as my original saddles. The string grooves are not in the same place and the barrels themselves are actually slightly bigger in diameter. This means that the strings do not sit centrally in the neck, and although a small shim has helped the alignment I would still like to replace the missing saddle if there is any way to get one? The saddles are the solid type, and I believe my bridge is the one that preceeded the "Flea Bridge" i.e. the strings pull at an angle over the saddle (which never was a problem, incidentally). If anybody at EB can help, or if someone has an odd spare in their bits box I would be really pleased to hear from you.

Regards, Matt.

Thanks guys. I'll try sending an email as calling is difficult due to work and the time difference. If I get anywhere I'll post an update in case anyone else is looking for the same thing.
