Yeah, should have listened to it again - you can clearly hear the frets.

D'oh :p

That's exactly it... Even under high gain, this set with the ash/maple wood combo has amazing articulation!!!! I absolutely love it!!!!

Now this has got me thinking about an AL BFR...:D

I've often wondered about the Tonerider pups. It's great to see a positive report about them. I'll have to give them a try.

offtopic.
Whitestrat - can you tell me if there is a metal plate on the base of the bridge pup in your SSS Silhouette Special?

my AL doesn't sounds that fat, but it haves the same sustain, EVEN WITH CLEAN TONES,

For some reason, my AL doesn't sustain as well as my Silo Spec or my JP... The BEST sustain I have in my ball collection, believe it or not, is actually my JP. That's Odd!!!:D It's something to do with the AL neck. I need to sort it out. I listened to the clip, and I'm hearing something strange. Then I tried playing one section over and over again. It seems to be buzzing out after a bend. Might have to add some relief to the neck... Oh well... If they could all play like my JP... That one has MAGIC!!!!!:D
