I want to try a different tuning with my SR5 (EADGC) and I need a new compensated nut to do it. I want to keep my old nut in case I don't bond with my new tuning. Can I buy an extra "replacement" nut?

Got bored. Tried my hand at making one. I started with a double-sized buffalo bone blank, like I use for Rics and Les Pauls. I drew a radiused centerline and drilled partially through with a 3mm Forstner bit. The depth sets the compensation. I cut across the nut on the scroll saw just above the centerlines of my drillings. The string slots are lightly scored, and will be proper depth upon installation and setup. Fine trimming of the length and final polishing will follow.

The policy also would bring to the moderator's attention
an attempt by a noob to post a For Sale post, assuming
acoarst that the For Sale post has pix in it. Noobs need
some minimal post count before posting in For Sale. 25
posts IIRC .... which might also be the count needed to
post images without moderator intervention [not like I
actually know the exact amount, but itz not huge].
