Ouch! How do people get away with that? Is there a fraud site on Ebay to alert them? It cleary has the OLP logo on the headstock so this is a no brainer. I feel bad because some unsuspecting neophyte is going to throw his money away.

Even unsuspecting neophytes should be doing a modicum of research before a high dollar eBay purchase. This bass is so obviously not an actual EBMM bass that I don't even think "Buyer Beware" is needed--Hell, "Buyer Pay Attention" is adequate, IMNSHO.

There is a link waaaaayyyyy down at the bottom of the page to report the auction (I just did for the first one). I don't know if they'll pull this auction, but if everyone here with an eBay account reports these auctions, eBay just might actually take notice.

Ebay won't pull the auctions.... because he's not actually doing anything wrong. As much as it disgusts me with the starting prices and the BIN price... he has advertised it as an ERNIE BALL, which it is (albeit only licensed by) and is not trying to cover up anything by showing the OLP logo clearly in the pics.
Shameful though, he's just waiting for some gullible newbie to come along.

As Jack said, buyer beware.

I did mention in a previous thread about the mods setting up a thread regarding ebay Ernie Ball scams and the need to protect our own forum members.... any feedback on this?

I see he has changed the listing title to add 'OLP' but has not altered his starting or BIN prices..... more fool him then! If he wants to waste his money on listing fees then who is the bigger fool?
