Razzle they do affect us in that they affect the brands perception and they take away from the sterling by music man sub series

Sure, and I don't think anybody's trying to hard to hunt down the poor souls (kid emptying piggy-bank, third world street performer, whatever) who constitute the market. But somebody's who isn't a less fortunate soul is knowingly investing $ into it and in turn making a bit of $$ off of it. Bottom line is it hurts the people who are trying to do things ethically and legally. For $258 you can still get a perfectly playable SUB, or Yamaha Pacifica, or any number of other budget brands that aren't so ... problematic.
