This black really have wonderful neck wood! Beautiful!

As Sterling is my No. 1 Music Man, I must admit that I prefer 3 band EQ and split coil H + phantom option, but I perfectly understand this approach of simplicity and "better" price on the market!
I mean why not?
Classic design, finest wood, simple and mighty pickup, simple EQ...etc., could be a winner combination and sell well!

I have no clue what this bass would sound like. I mean, a Sterling, without a switch, and a 2 band EQ?! It's insane, but somehow speaks to my imagination...

Let me just say that I may not be a player (yet!), but I'm sure about to be a collector. Of everything that was and is, these Sterlings are the cleanest, most gorgeous looking things ever! I've already fallen for 275-73-16-01 and I'm ordering one next time I see Brandt.
