Thanks Maddog! We anticipate raising over 500k that weekend. All for research...no overhead or fees every dollar given goes to UCLA. By the way our newest researchers funded by the CLB won the two highest awards in America this year! WOOOO HOOOO

That's a crazy way to do things, isn't it? High five those award-winning researches for me, boss, and if they need an acceptance speech, Luke is a better choice than, say, Sally Field.

Somebody better take photos for those of us who can't be at the event (I'm talking to YOU, Ben).

BP - out of curiosity - seeing how I like good causes and I love golf - how does one get himself on the mailing list for future CLB golf tournaments?

Thanks

Eggman THere is no invitation or price...people have to ask to play...As far as the price goes people just write a check for what they feel comfortable..it ends up being really expensive though 80 players donate a combined $525,000..each year

Can Jack come? We need him to carry stuff and fetch beverages, and do the band pedicure.

Cool - that's a nice average per player. Is that just what they all pay to play or do you have an auction event after the round that is included in that total? Or would you prefer to have this conversation somewhere else?

Thanks

I dont have a price and dont invite because I am very uncomfortable asking anybody for money (except for basses)...There is a waiting list and I dont want anyone to get overextended o feel pressure.

by the way Jackie is going to be roadmanager.....

Understood - I have done my share of fundraising and work with charitable organizations in the past. It is hard to ask for money. I recently resigned from the Oncology Board of The Children's Hospital of Denver - a lot of my time and money went there. I am in search of a new cause - thus my inquiries. Do you have any objection to me putting a link on my business site to the CLB Foundation?

Oh - does Jack need an assistant?;)

I have seen Derek Brooks in action and can only hope that he will let me wipe his brow and polish his sneakers.

Thank you, BP. I will do my best to take notes when notes are needed, photos when photos are acceptable, and - as always - enjoy my time with you and yours.

You think Luke wants his own cowboy hat?

The bizarre thing about this is that I was thinking the exact same thing this morning. I was in the shower, but still.

I have pesky female-type family members asking me (of all people) about wardrobe considerations for said shin-dig.
