Compensated Nut - Always had them?

Not really. Can be done but nut slot position and width are necessarily different.

I was thinking the nut slot would need to be expanded just slightly - but I'm a dummy and have never added a compensated bridge (although I love having them) - so how complicated is it?

Good Doctor, please enlighten me! :)

Kevin

Not complicated if you are adept at cutting a bigger slot in a very hard wood on a guitar neck. It's a job for a pro, or a well-equipped amateur with enough wood working experience (if you have to ask you probably don't) - or a neck they are happy to risk damaging. :)

Well... that sounds like a job just made for me and my good buddy Mr. Dremel Tool! :D

Yeah, there are a lot of things I'd be very willing to mess up in the process of learning how to do something. The neck of that guitar? It's not on the list.
