Question Cracked Bridge !!

Since I`m having neck problems with my new SR4 and it has to go back to SLO for a possible new one, I broke out my older SR4 to use in it`s place. Well, while restringing and getting it ready for a gig I noticed that the bridge is cracked. It`s got a small crack at the L where it comes up from the body. I have no idea how this could have happened , especially to such a thick piece of metal. I would use the bridge from my other Stingray but that`s getting ready to be shipped off. Can I buy one from EBMM, I know they don`t like to sell parts ? If I have to mail the broke one in first, so they can send out a new one I doubt I`ll get it in time. Is there a aftermarket direct replacement that someone makes ? I need it this week.

NYC.... I just posted for the problem your having on the recordings, I record all the time in the manner i told you about. If you have any problems let me know, I can inbox you my number and walk you thru it. I`m kinda broke so I have to improvise a lot. Can`t afford all that cool recording equip. right now..

I hear ya. I could be wrong but I think Music Man will sell you a bridge or at the very least swap it out. Considering your circumstances that you need it so quickly, they may even be able to get it to you fairly quickly but that is why I was saying to contact them. When is your next gig too? Maybe hold off shipping your other Stingray and use the bridge off of it until you get the new bridge in the mail then once you get that bridge, swap it back out and ship your other Stingray off to SLO then.

I`m gonna call EBMM tomorrow and see what they say. Worst case I`m gonna hold off shipping my other Stingray till Thursday, gig Wednesday night(i`m just so damn impatient). It`s been a unlucky few weeks. Thanks for the advice.
