Crazy Music Man clearance at GC

Wow. If I had not just bought a Majesty at a crazy low price, I would scoop that up just because.

Finally got down to my guitar center. only one crazy deal on a Dual Hum AL. Everything else is discounted a bit, but nothing crazy. They did move them off the wall and not very featured... Does any one know why they are clearing them out?

The GC in Natick near Boston has one of those Rasberry (metallic pink) Stingray classics, maple fretboard, 4 strings. The neck is lightly flamed. They want $1087 plus tax for it. It is in good shape and since I stopped by yesterday it is actually playable.

There are a couple more on lesser sales.

There is a killer Silo Spec in the San Diego Guitar Center if anyone is interested. I almost went home with it... Unfortunately the Wife said I was walking back to Vegas if I did.

As a PSA - I was in the GC in Overland Park, KS last night and they have one of those HH Silhouettes with a recessed Floyd at the clearance price - blueburst with a maple board. Not many of them around; I'm not a Floyd guy so I thought I would give the forum a PSA on it.

That describes the discount prices in Tejas, LAmmmmmmmmmmmmmeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

Not much of a discount except on a few AL HH and well I do not need an AL have my two excellent ones

Snagged an unbelievably nice BFR on the last day of this. Surprising too, cause they were sold out everywhere else but the Solar Burst I got has a nice Top. Can't wait for it!

I was in Las Vegas last week and they had awesome deals, I didn't buy anything as I had already ordered a Majesty but the sales were really tempting: they had a JP13-6, JPXI-6, JPXI-7, Mystic Dream 7, BFR cherry burst, solar burst, black and a few other originals. They also had a blue majesty 6 and a red majesty 7 at regular price. I remember also seeing some lukes, albert Lee and reflex, but I didn't pay too much attention to them.

I think this is good. More MM guitars out there, in most cases a newcomer to MM guitars want to purchase another one, plus people see them on stage and they want to check them out.

I was going to say "take a look at the forum rules in the sticky which is found in the top section of the gUitar Forum". However, I now realise that although it catagorically stated that "new guitar prices" should not be discussed, I cannot see that quite so easily now. Ergo, new users may experience the same problem. I'll raise this with DrK and see what he says- it's probably still there but it just doesn't stand out like it used to?

Re: Publishing prices - Some of you may have noticed that GC themselves do not publish those clearance prices online. There are reasons for that. As they don't we can't either.
