Okay gentlemen, so let's pretend that somebody I know has decided it's time to purchase one of those single H Bonger dealies and had a few questions.
Now then, firstly, somebody mentioned that if you grab the Piezo option on a Single H Bongo it makes the bass four band. Now does that mean four band as in Bass Mid Treb and Piezo?
Or does it mean Piezo, Plus Bass High Mid/Low Mid Treble? I'm not sure if this seems like a silly question, to be honest I wouldn't be surprised if by grabbing the piezo option they split up the mids.
Also, for those of you that have experienced the Singe H Bongos. If one were to play right by the bridge, would it be possible to get a sound that resembles the type of sound you'd get by playing on a HH or HS?
I'm talking about the pickup placement being moved up. Does that cut out that crazy aggressive jazzy bite that the HH has all together or does it just mean more manuvering? I've managed to get a nice flurry of sounds from my 'Ray and believe finger placement always makes a Huge difference, but I know that there's still limits.
Grateful as always
