I agree.....but if you can't tell the diff or they're really close...keep the teal.Better upgraded top and no finish fading.Will certainly hold it's value better than the purple IMHO...if you care about such things that is

many things have been said before. especially about the new/old thing - condition, playing, tone and so on.
take the Teal, because it's top is insane you'll have to watch out for a long time to get your hands on such a nice top again!
take the Teal, because the hardware (floyd) is newer and will last for longer time.
