I couldn't stop laughing and it reminded me why I love this place. EBMM instruments are GREAT, but because of this forum I know for a fact the people that make them(not to mention the folks on this forum) are awesome people. I can't help but be proud to play EBMM.

PS: If you can't get a trumpet out of that guitar, you really do need to check the battery.
bovinehost said:I had a 1956 Les Paul Junior for a long time. The pickup had gone weirdly microphonic and sometimes it would sound like a wolf, far out on the range, singing that lonely wolf song.
But then sometimes it also sounded like a rabid badger, ripping the guts out of some unlucky, screaming small mammal.
You know, I don't miss that guitar, really.
But let one person, for whatever reason, become dissatisfied, and then it's "Oh My God! What's happened to EBMM quality?"

Lets try to start over. Im sorry if I blasted you, but from my perspective you sorta had it coming. How about if we give it one more try and keep the emotions out of it.
Lets try to fix this thing properly...first off it should have gone through customer service but not that it isnt here's what I suggest.
1. Send the bass back to us. Both Jon and Dudley with thoroughally inspect, tweak and make it the best it can be. We will do this work promptly and free of charge...you just pay to get the bass back to us...,we will silp it back to you at our expense.
2. Take it to he most competent repair/service person. Have him coordinate with Jon and hook the bass up to a meter and give jon the readings in various output and tone settings. If these readings are bad, Then return to step one. If they are within spec then really the bottom line is that the Sting Ray just may not be the bass for you.
How about it?

Here, here.
In the same way you're entitled to your opinion, I'm entitled to express mine. As I said, I don't believe you're aired your grievances yesterday in a particularly adult way - and those people who know me here no that name means nothing in particular! In the UK it's akin to calling you an idiot with regards to how you expressed youself. Call me names if it makes you feel better, I don't care!Growler said:So go ahead and poke fun at my expense with comments about punctuation and names like "muppethead" (Azzy Wazzy)
