Okay, kids, we have at least decided on a place for the Birthday Bash. The Hyatt Regency DFW hotel is it. We were down to very limited choices due to an invasion of race fans at the Texas Motor Speedway, so this was one of the few places that still had a venue available.
Rooms are available as we speak. This ain't Motel 6 and I believe the Hyatt's rate is around 160 or 170 a night. There are a number of motels/hotels nearby and some are more affordable. I'll get more info on shuttles ASAP as well as the more affordable places.
The DFW Hyatt is right there at DFW airport, so try to book your flights into DFW versus Love Field unless you get a great fare and use the savings to take a cab!
There will probably be a Big Poppa Sponsored BBQ on Friday, November 3rd, at a location to be named later/soon. Plan your travel accordingly if you want to attend, and there may be a stage available for jamming on Friday, too. Not sure just yet!
