Dave, you know, you're not far off though. I got some other quotes for the Bongos, and only one shop beat you, and it was by so little that it wouldn't have been worth worrying about.

I only met you for a few hours over a weekend, and you treated me like a king when I visited the store. You went the extra mile for me, and I appreciate that. You have a great setup in that shop, I would enthusiatically recommend you to anyone.

I've just got back from band practice, and the more I play those basses the better they get. Best money I ever spent on an instrument.

As far as EBMM go I currently have 12 guitars and 4 basses in store with at least another 15 on the order list - for a single store I think we are far and away the biggets UK stockist.

When I quit about 16 or so years ago it was the same for me. The smell or taste of alcohol made me sick to my stomach (literally).

I am having a dry year this year, for no good reason at all! I have not missed it at all.

I've taken the last year off too Tim & lost all interest....guess it's a habit thing (in my case a year working in Saudi Arabia certainly broke the habit!!) It means I can spend more money ordering a new SS from that nice-sounding Dave.....bought my first one from his shop in '99
