BFR JP6. Going to be a cool purchase, really different from my old BFR JP6. Interested to hear the new pickups and to see what it's like with Ebony. For me, that makes the DD2 BFR JPs easier to rationalize than any of the other models none of which have had a recent change in their pickups.

Called Dan at Dan's Guitars here in Honolulu and he said that my DD2 Luke is in the process of being made. Should be here in about 3 weeks or so.
I was a bit late on getting my order in as I didn't even know what the color was called. I actually asked Luke via Twitter about it and he said to call EBMM to get one if they still had em. Just my luck, DD2 was being offered!
So many acronyms to learn here. Someone should set up a sticky page with a listing of them all.
I'd love to see the DD2's as they come in! Please share if yours comes in!

Dargie Delight
It's a limited edition package. This is the 2nd generation of DD instruments, hence the "DD2" moniker. Check out this link for info:

The order window has been closed for nearly a month. Now we're all waiting for our guitars to arrive. I ordered a BFR JP6 as soon as I heard the order window was open.

Joe, you ordered earlier than I did and you might have your JP before my D2 Gold Roller arrives!
Edit: Although I do have several D2s arriving this week - they are in transit with UPS and hopefully make it here safely!

P>S not to get off topic but i took time to go to your Youtube site and watch your Yellow 9 band vids Very well done stuff!! Rockin in the free world was top notch.
You are alot younger than i imagined you to be, but the sound of your band remined me of our setup in the gloden oldie days of the 80's and the singer and PA system sounded very bottom endy and kick Ass!!.

hm, i placed my order on the 11th of august, what was really late - and don´t forget i live overseas, so i can´t imagine that EBMM will ship out only a hand full of guitars to europe, i think they will wait until there are a few more ready to go.
but i hope, i´ll get it soon.

Just got the call, playing 3 tracks on Telethon this year. Fingers crossed, I can unveil the dargie and blow some minds!!
(For the non-aussies: telethon is a 26 hour, almost continuous live broadcast aired across Western Australia TV.
The event raises money from donations for three main beneficiaries; Princess Margaret Hospital for Children, the Telethon Institute for Child Health Research and the Telethon Speech and Hearing Centre. It is regarded as the most successful fundraising event per capita in the world, raising over AUD$85million in its history. Telethon 2008 alone raised a $7.5 million.)
I'm trying not to get my hopes up, but rocking a dargie would be sOoOoOo good
