Deep purple

I've never met Mr. Blackmore myself, but I love his playing . . a legend.

The funny thing is - when I was young I had a really elitist attitude about music - If someone's music didn't fit into my narrow definition of what was good or didn't behave, dress or play in a way I could identify with - they sucked. God forbid they should become popular - then I'd dump them in a heartbeat - "Oh - I only liked Metallica before . . . . "

I spent a lot of useless energy on this one. Today after 25 years of slogging it out playing music, I respect all musicians - even the Primadonnas and the wannabees. I may not like their music (RAP), but I can identify with the desire to create art (or make money).

I even like Bon Jovi now - I used to make so much fun of them in the 1980's :D Sambora is pretty good - I could smoke him - but I think he plays from his heart, and he's a great singer.

Also Satch's intro to lazy was great considering the Hammond part.

I just listened to it.
It's been a long time, and you're right. He kicks ass here! :)
