Awesome! - all jokes ofcoarse. SM said in an interview something about givin it 100% in all aspects of life will make you a better guitar player (...he was refering to fatherhood for himself) - thought that was cool.

So...LUKE III...can't wait...maybe we'll catch a glimpse on youtube soon...

Hello,
I have written a couple of times last year to the Music Man asking if it were possible to make a Luke natural(alder natural oil) and I wish that finally my dream comes true and I also hope that the headstock stays standard no reverse(I dont like it and in my opinion it doesn't have anything to do with it on the Luke)

I'm more than happy to be able to witness this debut then :)
Thank you again BP (how is it possible you always answer? Is there a program on your computer ringing a bell each time we say "BP" or something? :) A lot of company should follow your example, cause I've been hanging around here for only 5 months, and I really feel like I'm part of the family.

Luke just mentioned on his facebook page that LUKE III will make its début on next tuesday Toto gig. Rosewood neck he says; he will be playing Luke III and Goldie as main axes.
But I can't find the post anymore...:(

ah there it is:
"Steve Lukather The neck SIZE will be the same, full on rosewood neck which I LOVE.. the L-III ( which I insisted on as opposed to LUKE will make its live debut Tues night and will be my main axe, however Glodie is still in Rotation as well. I have a new Black one that will be seen as well"

BP, L-III is official name then? Or do you expect Luke to change his mind on this too :) :)

By the way, will the axe be , even slightly, bigger so a 6ft 5in guy can play it without hearing "hey, nice Ukulélé :( "

First post here :) Thought I'd share some info on the guitars he played at the Toto show last Thursday in the Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam.

He played three Lukes, the True Gold one and two (I think) Luke III prototypes; a green sparkle-ish one with 2 passive humbuckers and a black one with a humbucker and two single coils (also passive)
