The contention that the website is inaccurate or has a discrepancy is a irrelevant and inaccurate point.

I'm just trying to clear that out.

For example, the 20th Anny Silo is no longer a production model. It has been discontinued for some time. Therefore the website is no longer promoting that instrument on its website because it is not currently being offered on a production basis.

Similarly in this instance, the BFR RW Necks are no longer being produced and therefore it can be assumed that anything on the website, like the 20th silo, will not be represented on the company website.

Deductive reasoning. That's all. Move along.

Yeah, this wasn't about getting an answer to the question (to which everyone, including Dargin ... ahem ... "management" ... tried to help with). This was about hearing "you're right". So there ya go.

That is an all rosewood neck Axis. The option to order an all rosewood neck came up for a small period back in late 2008. This meant you could order almost any EBMM model (standard of BFR models) with an all rosewood neck. Becuase it wasn't and still isn't a regular option to order it fell within the BFR title. Hopefully that makes some sense?

Beej...I raise a glass to your seemingly infinite amount of patience and class in dealing with situations like this. You and the rest of the mods are very much appreciated.

We don't know if it is a BFR ASS w/ Toneblock for sure until someone from SLO gives the thumbs up. There's nothing wrong with the website, it is just this is a rare case where a potential customer's order is confusing.

With all due respect, there is a problem with the website when a customer can not clarify information clearly enough. Perfect example of this, is another listing on eBay right now, for the same guitar, but it's being sold by an AUTHORIZED EBMM DEALER and he is claiming that it has the mahogany block. Much worse, he is selling it for the same price as a BFR Axis with the mahogany block.

So, for this example alone, it shows the potential problem for confusion when juding the guitar by EBMM's website. Imagine a potential customer purchasing that brand new BFR Axis from an EBMM on Ebay with the thinking that he/she is buying a BFR AXIS with a mahogany block...only to find out later, that what he actually got was much different from what he thought he had bought. It shows how confusing it is, when a EBMM dealer doesn't represent the product shown, only because they have been misled as well. This is very concerning.

Ok, I think the question has been asked and answered (several times).

Razor, you got to voice your concern for all to hear. I'm sure they appreciate you telling them how to run their marketing dept. I'll leave it to EBMM staffer's if they want to address your concerns about confusing product lines.

All you had to do was contact the seller to clear this up. If you've got issues with the price, you have the same remedy, k?

Before I chill, you went from question to "that's shady" in one post. At least you didn't call anyone "EBMM's blind-eyed lap dog?" or "incessant fanboy" like last time. So check the attitude or you won't be welcome.

Ok, and another happy thread comes to an end.

Razor, thanks for your PM buddy. Too bad all of those ****'s cover up the large words you were trying to use. Btw, thanks for your concern about my physical safety!

Don't let the door hit you on the way out ...

Wow the BFR has been dealt with...it isnt misleading if you buy the ones listed on the website as current production they have tone blocks the rossewood neck option that we made available for any guitar or bass is a Ball Family Reserve instrument it is a special limited piece When I created the Ball Family Reserve it was to give the public the opportunity to get unique pieces....it was not Tone BLock Reserve.
