I saw a Sparkle Cherry Burst - type color on EvilBay not too long ago that looked amazing! (Not sure what the actual color name was.)

that color is called BURNT APPLE...I have a Stingray that I bought new in that color...very pretty bass...I have a matching head stock on mine which just makes the finish look more complete.

What finish is this? Tans green or trans yellow? It'd be a big help because until today i was unaware there was actually a trans yellow at one point... Made me think the whole time i'd been calling this the wrong finish all along.

Taped up knobs? What's up with that? Who does that bass belong to, do you know? Looks kinda like a Heinz. WOW!!!!! I just noticed that thing has no chrome control cover like the Stingray, but it doesn't have the switch like the Sterling.

That bass belongs to Roger Manganelli, he tapes up teh knobs so the sound is consistant through the entire cd, for when he records. and i'm sure its a Sterling, thats what the headstock says but youre right, it IS missing the switch.

+1 with Pearl Lavender. Such a pretty finish!!

So far all the trans green finishes I've seen have been straight up trans yellow. What's teh dealio with those? Is it like a sun-exposure problem? (or were they all that beautiful to begin with? :D)

That's a true representation of T-Green. It doesn't really have a "story", its just a gross color :D

I was looking at the trans gold and its really deep yellow. So the best way to get that bright yellow would be for a more trans green/yellow? ah doesn't matter lol I'm gonna hafta get it custom painted either way, you don't offer trans green anymore.

I'm gonna make the brightest translucent yellow/green ever conceived!

THEN slap on a tort pick guard and bolt on a neck with rosewood fretboard and post pictures!

I just gotta get paintin' money.
