Beej, why do you always have to be so mature? :) You're right of course, and that thought allowed me not to have a strange overreaction to something that I probably can't grasp anyway. BP, do yo thing! Can't wait!

That's why he's a moderator.:D:D He & the good Dr. Kev maintain the balance among us knuckleheads.;);)

Whoa, so many changes. I'm really sad about the Reflex. Was hoping to get one sometime in the next year or two. Bummer.

QC Black Burst Quilt
QR Ruby Burst Quilt
QT Bahama Blue Quilt
FC Black Burst Flame
FR Ruby Burst Flame
FT Bahama Blue Flame

And the BFR Luke III will only be available in Hazel Burst and Blueberry Burst?

I have 91 EBMM's in my collection, but I don't have all of the ones that are going away.... OOOF. What am I going to do?!? I thought I had forever to buy these! There's no way I can buy them by October 31st!!!!! Here's what I am missing:

Axis Sapphire Black

Axis Sky Blue
Axis Tangerine Pearl
Axis Silver Sparkle
Axis BFR - At least need Solar Burst, Hazel Burst, Blueberry Burst. Ugh.

this wasnt hard it was way overdue...and guess what? nobody ordered them. But I had to stock paint hardware and all it takes...Every once in awhile you have to reinvent yourselves

Excited to see what comes out at NAMM in January. It's sad to see some finishes and models go away but I'm excited for the new ones as well. There is always the used market for anything that we can't pick up by October 31st. I just appreciate the heads up from EBMM.

You introduced the Stealth finish on the JP line at Winter NAMM 2015 and now you discon. this again?
isn't it a bit to soon???
I was thinking about it, but can not order it before next year...wallet is empty right now...and now with this list, it seems, that i'll never get my hands on one of these babes.
The Y2D blackburst.....as well on my wish list for next year...that hurts!

Just to get it right, if i would order a blackburst Y2D before 1o/31....do i have the option to choose between quilt and flame?

Wow! This is extensive, and surprising.
That's all of the original Als

Always wanted an MM90 Al. Might have to jump on it... but am afraid to as I want to see the new offerings first. :p

After reading this (with some sadness...no more luke piezos?!?), and getting a lucky peek at the future...it feels like a brand new direction in terms of new shapes and models.

At least that was the feeling i was awashed in on seeing things

Step 1, if I know 5S. "Sort". Lots of sorting.

Indeed you are correct. The 5S’s stand for 5 Japanese words that constitute good housekeeping. Roughly translated they are;

Sort (Seiri)
Set in order (Seiton)
Shine (Seiso)
Standardize (Seiketsu)
Sustain (sh!tsuke)

and more often than not ,forms an element of one of the 4 (Lean) Levers.

We've had a teaser lately, looking forward to some more!!

Just looking again at the list of discontinued colours/options, and I was thinking
"What colours remain as an option for the Albert Lee?"

I didn't see my Trans-Walnut listed so that one will survive.

EDIT - from the looks of it the ones discontinued are only the SSS and MM90 models. Apparently no HH colors are going. That's good if I ever want to add another color.

I think its a good idea that EBMM are doing this. Its a shame that a few other guitar companies dont do the same, i personally get bored of seem the exact same colours and styles that are churned out from the likes of fender and gibson.
Cant wait to see the new lineup
