you know that I really get a kick out of each and every Bongo convert. I also get a bigger kick about someone that HATED it hated the name and keeps looking at it and then one day they wake up and say wow this think is so cool. We have recd awards in the design world for the bongo celebrating its bold and aggressive design without sacrificing tried and true balance points and ergonimics.......

Welcome Jerseydrew and thanks for the support!

By the way I got the black/tort rw necked beast in my office today in Coachella...wow what a bass but I might swap bodies for a little more aggressive color

That would be me. I absolutely hated the way it looked though I loved the way it sounded. Its becoming my trademark at gigs now. Between the MG single H and the HS Stealth I've ordered from Jack & Steve that'll cover it all.

And yes Steve, the Bird is packed and ready to ship this week. ;)

Hey, Jack, can I interest you in an eighth martini?

<*casually walks outside with the burgundy H and stashes it in the trunk*>

Too late on that one, AD. TKarter already stashed it in his trunk!

I never get tired of hearing it, Ray. Or of looking at this photo:

Three Texas bassists ask themselves, "What the freakin hell IS this?"

I think I'd had that Bongo about a week. November or December of 2003!

I'm not BP nor do I play him on TV, but it's still a lot of fun to see you guys coming over to BongoLand.

And someone, and I don't want to use names here, so let's just say his initials are Sterling Ball, was giving me a hard time about switching out a pickguard on a sentimentall bass, eh?

Well, before you go all Doctor Frankenstein on that thing, how about a photo of you and the bass?

(And just my opinion - not a big fan of black basses but that one kills.)

(On the other hand, I also have been known to like unusual colors.)

You're everywhere! You're ubiquitous! You're definitely not supposed to be in the Gear For Sale forum at the Pit! I'm trying to sell an amp!

But I quote: "Will I consider trades? Yes, but I really don't need anything. I might go for a Lakland Hollowbody.....not much else that really floats my boat at the moment, but run it by me."

Not much else floats my boat because I have eight or so of YOUR basses and what the hell else could I really need? Nothing.

Tonight at Camp Bovine, we're celebrating the return of The Sterling Bass. Jeez, I have "Houses of the Holy" going LOUD and playing this sparkly bastard and.....

Well, by "sparkly bastard", I mean the bass, not you.

Hey, you need an iAMP 800, Sterling?

the who loves you?

Jack
