Ha ha! I really think it's cool that each of the basses has a different thing to it that there is no "true" attitude. But yeah, he's envious!/QUOTE]

I can categorically assure you that I am not envious, not even a wee tiny bit!

Today's the big day :) I'm very excited. I'm going to try all 3 basses. There's a good chance I will come home with one. I wish I could buy more than one, but that's not possible. I'll post a pic of the one that I choose later.

I knew it, I knew it, I knew it. Good call! Congrats! So what was going on through your head when you decided on it. No regrets, right? Is the neck OK for you? How do you like the HH?

Looks familiar!

I was noodling to songs on the stereo the other day and was impressed with the way it mind-melded to just about any song of any type. Everything from lightweight folk to Motown to 'System Of a Down' sounds better with Bongo.

Truly an amazing bass.

No regrets. I've been giving it a ton of thought. The neck, IMHO, seemed like it was smaller than the SR, but a bit larger than the Sterling. The body was thin and comfortable. Especially on my right forearm. With the HH, there are so many possibilities of sounds it's incredible. When I saw the Bongo for the first time, I thought it looked a bit strange. Then I fell in love with it. It's unique. It's definitely one bass that can get many, many different sounds. Did I mention that it's comfortable too?
