It's really an all purpose guitar at this point as it is my only one. The push-pull pot is just to give me some extra sounds if I desire and want to hear something other than a full on humbucker. I mainly use the bridge hum, neck hum, neck & bridge together and the neck split, but the original single coil is great too for a tele like tone. I use them all at one point or another. Also inspires me to play different things sometimes.
And of course I dont have to touch the tone pot at all to just leave it as the original wiring. I love a humbucker in the neck position but I also really love a single in the neck, so that and being that this is my only guitar inspired me to put in that "master" push-pull pot to have the best of both worlds. It's convincing enough for me
