Hmmmmmm.....

Well, I have an Ampeg 4X10"

Maybe I just need to put more power behind it.

Maybe I need sleep.

Maybe the Prime Minister has cellophane jodhpurs.

Goodnight everybody!

Steve, can you get your mitts on some Troeg Brothers?

Now you've got me all curious, so I'll endeavor to locate some. :)

SodaPops:

Sedona is a beautiful place to visit. Make sure you stop at Oak Creek Brewery while you're there. As for living there... it's a bunch of new-agers who are into crystals, reike, etc. If that sorta thing is your bag, then Sedona it is! Otherwise, keep looking. I can't figure out why you'd leave KY though.. .surely there's a forutne to be made fixing teeth there.. :D :D

(I'm joking, for those forumites who may hail from KY).

As for Big Poppa being Sterling Ball... well that's just irresponsible speculation. ;)

Sedona's a tourist town...home to those who think they can put a razor blade under a pyramid and have it sharpen.......blech...what good is it besides trinkets and timeshares???
There is a lot of those types in Jerome, too! Last time I was in Sedona, the place had more ritzy places, trying to become another Santa Fe or Taos.

AZ is trying to grow up and acquire some sophistication. Not sure I like the new AZ.

Ok, so is anyone out there in Montana?

Ok, well it sounds like Sedona might be a bad move. I can't stand that smell.
How about Montana? I was thinking of moving to the Flathead Valley area. Anyone out there?

That sounds a lot like the beach towns I used to live in (Leucadia, Encinitas...northern San Diego).

Nice, sleepy hangs...until the condos and malls went up like weeds.

Nice pics! Looks like nice place to visit. I was checking out some housing prices online this morning. GEEZ! You would have to be a flippin' MEGA-GAZILLIONAIRE!!

I saw a trailer on a 30' X 50' lot going for $200,000..........

Not on your life!

Oh yeah, and I read that Jon Anderson from Yes has a house there. Where he goes to "commune with the spirits". GAG!

Yes, I believe he does which brings up another subject. One of the most spine tingling live performances I've ever seen was at NAMM a few years back at the "Acoustic Cafe" show where I saw the California Guitar Trio playing with Tony Levin. They called up a "guest" from the audience to sing a song and it was Jon Anderson and he sang "Heart of the Sunrise".

Now think of the basslines to that song and imagine Tony simply nailing it with funk fingers on an SR5. It moved me so much I made a babbling idiot of myself backstage and gushed all over Tony while he was eating a salad.

Situation looking up!! I think....

Ok, I was complaining about my adventures in bass world to one of the girls in the office. Then one of the patients comes up and tells me he has a pal that is off to Iraq in a couple weeks and wants to sell all of his basses. This guy tells me one is an Ernie Ball bass and it is orange but has no more info. I gotta call this guy in the morning!

He only wants $400!!

Drool......drool..............

If your dealer promised you a 30th in December...(remember NAMM was late Jan) He needs to get current with whats going on at least. Please understand that we are getting killed with orders and ahave a limited production level. THe 30th are running through now and my best advice for someone is if they want one they better order soon as our delivery for an instrument ordred today is the first week of October. We will cease making the 30th on the last week of december.

THAT is customer service. Right from the horses mouth..... sorry BP, right from the stallion's mouth.

I make no mention of geldings or vasectomies. But if I did I bet they would be funny.

A trying experience...........

Actually, this entire experience has sort of put me off buying a Music Man bass. Special ordering. Waiting. Limited Editions. Anniversary models. Custom colors. Custom pickguards. Lined frettless. Blank plank. No being able to try before you buy. Maybe the color will be wrong. Maybe it will be damaged. Only a flyer to go by. Having to take people at their word on whether or not I should get one. Is the Bongo REALLY from Mars? It's just a whole lot of hassle for a bass guitar. I mean why bother? I can go into any music shop and buy a bass. It's nothing special. I give up!:(

NAH! I'm just ****in' with ya!!
